Dr.
Dunas is a student of Ancient Principles that generate success in every culture,

Dr.
Dunas' teachings show how Ancient Principles like balance, focus and unity apply

Dr.
Dunas was among the first non-Asian acupuncturists in America. In practice since
1974, she utilizes western and eastern medical techniques. Dr. Dunas recently
won the "Acupuncturist of the Year" award, the highest honor given by her
profession, for her clinical skills and groundbreaking training programs, which
introduce Ancient Principles and their modern applications.
Raised
in a medical family, Dr. Dunas' step-father co-founded Kaiser Permanente Medical
Centers, she showed an early interest in her field. Inspired by his example, she
began her studies in Oriental medicine. Before earning a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Medical Sociology/International Health-Care from UCLA, she served
apprenticeships with Japanese and Korean acupuncturists. In 1988 she completed
her doctorate in Clinical Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology at Samra University.
Dr.
Dunas is the author of "Passion Play: Ancient Secrets for a Lifetime of
Health and Happiness," which has been published in several languages. She
has contributed to many periodicals and appeared on numerous television and
radio shows.
